Downtown Oakland Hotel Launches Out and About in Oakland Facebook Contest
Centrally-located Downtown Oakland hotel offering free two-night suite stay to winner of Out and About in Oakland Facebook photo contest.
OAKLAND, CA, October 26, 2011 /Leisure - Hospitality PR News/ -- The Courtyard Marriott Oakland Downtown announces the launch of its Out and About in Oakland Facebook Photo Contest, which will run October 5 through December 2, 2011.
Residents of and visitors to the city are invited to enter the contest by snapping a photo of themselves at one of Oakland's popular attractions or recognizable hangouts - including Jack London Square, the Coliseum, the Zoo, Fox Theater, and more. They can then go online, "like" the Downtown Oakland hotel's Facebook page, fill out the submission form, and post one photo as an entry to the wall.
The winner of the Out and About in Oakland Facebook Contest will receive:
A two-night stay in a Downtown Oakland hotel suite
Breakfast for two each morning
A pair of BART tickets for the Embarcadero, Montgomery Street, or Powell Street stops
Entries and photo submissions will be accepted now through December 2, 2011. The winner will be determined by the most votes via the "like" option beneath each photo. This two-week voting process will run from December 3 to 17, 2011, and the prizewinner will be announced on December 19, 2011.
